Summary

The article aims to explore the extent of the linguistic integration between Arabic eloquence (Fusha) and its local dialects and demonstrate the integration of Fusha with dialects in practical, functional, and communicative life. The article adopts a descriptive approach to address its topics, focusing on linguistic integration, eloquence, Arabic dialects, their integrations, and the mutual influences between eloquence and dialects. The article highlights the current state of eloquence and dialects in terms of their prevalence and use to determine the status of each. By understanding the extent of usage, the level of interest in the language can be assessed. It is observed that, although eloquence is a formal and standardized language, it is less frequently used in local Arab communities compared to the various uses of colloquial dialects. The article sees linguistic integration as a means to bridge the gap between eloquence and dialect, illustrating through some examples how certain eloquent words have transformed into colloquial terms. The article also discusses the influence of the global environment on the Arabic language and the borrowing of words used in its dialects. Among the conclusions reached is that integrating eloquence and dialects is important, provided that the eloquent linguistic origin is preserved. From it, the various dialectal forms of the language integrate, which helps learners get closer to native speakers, understand them better, perform different functional tasks easily, and apply them accurately.
