VOCABULARY AND COLLOCATIONS IN ARABIC EXAMS

Abstract
The aim of this research is to examine the words and collocations in Ösym Arabic language exams between 2011-2021 in terms of structural, semantic and numerical. In this study, in which document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used, the documents were taken from the official page of ÖSYM. The research has been examined in 7 parts: introduction, exam, words, collocations, method, findings and results. The documents obtained are divided into parts as noun, verb and preposition under collocations and word names, the frequency of use of these words in the exam and their meanings are expressed in tables. In this context, the examinations and analyzes have shown that there are repeated words in Arabic foreign language exams, especially in verbs with nouns, that collocations are definitely asked in the text or in the choices in the exams held between 2011-2021, and that these collocations are expressions that are frequently used in current and daily life
